A tradesman can go with any entity. I.e., sole proprietor, LLC, etc. On the other hand, a professional such as an attorney, may not be able to file an LLC. He or she can only file as sole owner, limited partnership, or professional corporation. Also, since a tradesperson or a professional is engaged in an activity for profit, he is required and subject to business license registrations. Thus, also, home and online businesses need to register. |
